Recipes: Besan Kofta Curry

Recipes Ingredients (Serves For 5 People)

Besan Kofta Curry recipe
  1. 1 Big Size Onion
  2. 4 To 5  Garlic Flakes
  3. 2 Large Size Tomatoes, Pureed
  4. 1 Tsp. Garam Masala Powder
  5. ¼ Tsp. Turmeric Powder
  6. 1 Tblsp. Dhania & Jeera Powder
  7. Salt And Chilli Powder To Taste

Recipes Ingredients For Koftas: 

  1. 250 Grams Besan (Gram Flour)
  2.  ½ Tsp. Cumin Seeds
  3. 1½ Tblsps. Melted Ghee
  4. 1 Tsp. Crushed Pomegranate Seeds
  5. 100 Grams Grated Onions
  6. Alubhukharas Or Dry Plums, Seeded

Recipes Preparation Procedure:

First Of All Mix Together All The Kofta Ingredients Except Plums, Without Adding Water. Then Turn The Ingredients Paste Into Balls Around The Whole Plums. Deep Fry The Balls To A Golden Color. Grind Onion And Garlic To A Paste. Heat 2 Tbsps. Ghee And Fry The Ground Paste To Golden Color. Add To The Paste All The Spices And Tomatoes And Cook Till The Ghee Separates. Then Add 2 Cups Of Water, Bring Slowly To A Boil And Keep Boiling Gently For 5 To 7 Minutes. Then Add Koftas And Boil For 5 More Minutes. Serve Hot Decorated With Coriander Leaves. (Recipes)

But served along with mixed vegetables too. All ingredients of the meal are cooked at once in one large pan.
