Bad skin habit #1: Skipping on Sunscreen
A lot of people tend to believe that skipping on sunscreen during a cloudy day is OK. Which is not true as ultraviolet rays can still pass through even on a cloudy day. Do yourself a favor and splatter an SPF lotion of at least 15 before heading outside. Apply the product onto the areas that could be exposed to the sun. Such as your arms, ears, neck, arms, and legs. Reapply the product every two hours when you will be outside for an extended period of time.
Bad skin habit #2: Sleeping with your makeup on
Never hit the sack with your makeup on no matter how drunk, tired and stressed you may be. Makeup will clog your pores, inhibit your skin to repair itself while you sleep. And will increase your chances of breaking out the next morning.
Bad skin habit #3: Not cleaning your makeup brushes
Dirty makeup brushes are worse than sleeping with your makeup on! Unwanted bacteria can build on your makeup brushes and sponges thus. You should regularly clean your beauty tools before using them. Cleaning your face with your favorite cleanser every morning. Would be for nothing if you are using a filthy makeup brush onto your face. (That’s like putting all the dirt and grimes back into your face!)

Too much of a good thing is bad for you and exfoliating your face is not an exception. New skin starts to turn itself every six weeks and too much scrubbing can lead to dry and irritated skin. The right way to do it is to exfoliate only once a week and put a nourishing moisturizer afterward. You should also choose a gentle exfoliating scrub for your face.
Bad skin habit #5: Ignoring your neck and hands
A tall tale sign of a woman’s age is her neck and hands. I’ve seen a lot of woman with a smooth. And younger looking facial skin that is enough to stop the traffic. But when your eyes start to drift downwards. You would be disappointed at how dry and wrinkled their neck and hands look like!
The skin in your neck and hands should also be taken care of as. These are the things that start to show premature signs of aging. When applying your moisturizer onto your face. Do not forget to apply an extra dollop of cream onto your neck. And put on a moisturizing lotion on your hands before hitting the sack.

Ever wonder why a good night’s sleep leaves you with a glowing face (and a good mood!) each morning? This is because an inadequate amount of sleep leads to aggravation of skin problems. Such as acne, premature signs of aging, eczema and even psoriasis.
Furthermore, sleep is the only time for your body to repair itself. And it is your when skin care products. Such as moisturizers and serums are best absorbed. And so not having enough shut-eyes will not only make your skin care products ineffective. But will also lead to more breakouts and can make your face look dull and sallow.
